Claims Summit Europe 2025

17.06.2025

ControlExpert and the Solvd Group as Hosts of a Digital Future

On June 5, 2025, the time had come once again: ControlExpert, together with its Solvd Group partners, hosted the annual industry gathering in Langenfeld. Claims Summit Europe 2025 welcomed over 200 guests from Germany, Poland, France, Italy, the UK, Spain, and Switzerland, offering them the opportunity to experience the latest developments in claims and maintenance management first-hand. The focus was clear: the growing importance of modern technologies and artificial intelligence across the entire customer journey.

Global Expertise – United in One Ecosystem

ControlExpert, Innovation Group, and GT Motive have joined forces under the Solvd Group umbrella to set new standards as global drivers of a fully digital customer journey in automotive claims and maintenance management. The Solvd Group offers a truly digital end-to-end process — from first notice of loss to claim closure. Claims Summit 2025 provided the perfect stage to showcase this combined expertise to an international professional audience.

Technology in Action: Live Demos and Hands-On Workshops

At the heart of the event were practical live demonstrations and interactive workshops, where participants could follow the complete end-to-end process step by step using a real-world accident scenario. From damage capture via voicebot, AI-supported claims steering with the Claims Advisor, calculation by GT Motive including virtual inspections using VR glasses, to digital repair management and spare parts ordering through Innovation Group: guests experienced how intelligent technologies are already simplifying, accelerating, and optimizing processes today.

How market cooperation enabled the creation of an anti-fraud solution – presented by Andrzej Wasilewski with System FOTO

An initiative by PIU (Polish Insurance Association) and UFG (Polish Guarantee Fund) led to the development of a central anti-fraud database based on photo analysis. This AI-powered platform developed by ControlExpert enables the detection and prevention of fraud in the claims handling process. Thanks to the system, fraudulent claims are identified, while trustworthy claims are processed without the involvement of anti-fraud teams.

As an experienced insurance industry executive and legal counsel, who has been actively involved for years in the work of the Polish Insurance Association, and currently a Member of the Management Board of Allianz Poland responsible for Operations and IT — Andrzej Wasilewski presented unique insights into the development and key success factors of this innovative solution, which is now used by nearly the entire insurance market in Poland.

Insights for the Future

A series of high-profile presentations complemented the program. Sebastian Lins, Managing Director of ControlExpert and Chief Markets Officer of the Solvd Group, opened the summit with a clear message: only a fully digital customer journey can secure long-term success in claims management.

Following this, Anne-Sophie Grouchka, CEO of the Solvd Group, introduced the group as a powerful alliance of ControlExpert, GT Motive, and Innovation Group, highlighting how the combined strengths of the three companies enable a true end-to-end solution for efficient, transparent, and fast claims and maintenance management.

Michael P. Unger from NVIDIA, ControlExpert's technology partner, offered a visionary look into the technological future. He explained the role of NVIDIA components within the Solvd platform and how they contribute to the AI-powered solutions of the coming decade.

The summit concluded with a keynote by Andreas Decker, Managing Director of ControlExpert and Chief Product Officer of the Solvd Group, who delivered an impressive presentation on how Agentic AI is fundamentally transforming claims management — breaking away from the traditional claims triangle and ushering in autonomous agent systems.

Networking in a Unique Atmosphere

The day concluded with an evening event that provided space for personal exchanges, new contacts, and in-depth discussions — an essential part of what has always defined the Claims Summit Europe: open dialogue, practical inspiration, and the opportunity to shape innovation together.

To Be Continued

Claims Summit Europe 2025 once again demonstrated the high level of interest in innovative, technology-driven solutions. We are already looking forward to the next Claims Summit on June 18, 2026 — once again in Langenfeld, once again hosted by ControlExpert, and once again as a platform for all those who actively shape the future of claims management.
