What is EasyClaim?

EasyClaim is the smart way of handling vehicle claims by using any mobile device with Internet access.

The time it takes to settle a claim drastically reduces from weeks down to hours or minutes. Information and photos of the damage are sent to ControlExpert by customers using their own smartphones, tablets or computers with internet. Within only a few hours the customer receives feedback about the estimated repair costs for the vehicle and gets to select the repair workshop of their choice from a list. It is also possible for the insurer to offer cash settlements in suitable cases.

How EasyClaim works

Receive Link

After a phone call with the insurance company, the claimant gets sent a link via e-mail or SMS to the EasyClaim application which can be opened on any mobile device with internet access. On the start screen he/she has to accept the privacy policy to continue.

Identify Vehicle

The claimant takes a photo of the inside of his/her vehicle registration certificate and inserts the first registration date of the vehicle.

In addition, a photo of the dashboard and information about the mileage of the vehicle is needed.

Take pictures

The claimant takes two overview pictures of his/her vehicle and adds at least two detail photos of the damage.

Damage description

Now the claimant needs to add a short description of how the accident happened. He/she may use the text field or can dictate it directly to the mobile device.

Send data

That’s it! The data is sent to ControlExpert where our car experts can determine the claim amount.

Receiving calculation

Within just a few hours the claimant receives a calculation of the repair costs including spare parts, paintwork and labor costs. He/she can now decide whether the amount should be paid out or the damage should be repaired in a repair workshop instead.

Payout

If the claimant opts for payout, he/she needs to fill in the bank account details. The calculated amount will be transferred to his/her bank account within a few days.
